The History of Orbilal StarsOrbital Stars was originally formed in 1978 as Horsham Planets when the
club met at the sports centre in Horsham park using the centre's trampolines.
In 1984 the club moved to the sports centre in Bewbush, Crawley when it
was renamed Bewbush Bouncers. Again the club used the centre's trampolines
and later changed its name to Lynx (After the helicopter of this name).
The link was very tenuous and the name was eventually changed again, this
time to the current name, Orbital Stars. The club was quite small and
only able to meet a few times a week. We currently have 80 members plus coaches ranging from Beginers up to competition level trampolinists. |
